Congratulations to the Girls Swim and Dive Team on their Division 3 state championship! The Pioneers had a great performance at the state championship meet, setting records in multiple events. The program sent 24 Student-Athletes to the state finals. EGR took first place in the following events: 200 Yard Medley Relay (State Record: Sperling, Hein, Chandler, Sowerby) 200 Yard Individual Medley (Addie Hein) 100 Yard Butterfly (State Record: Ellery Chandler) 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (Camfferman, Avendt, Chu, Chandler) 100 Yard Breaststroke (State Record: Ellery Chandler) 400 Yard Freestyle Relay (Sperling, Mamatela, Sowerby, Chu) East Grand Rapids ended the meet with 373 points, beating the second-place team by 145 points.
